para Nicolas y Angelica

(for Angelica & Nicolas)
You weren't a mistake.
Seemingly complex adults may be, but the foolishness of men, women and their complex emotions do not justify the beautiful creation of you in God's eyes.

The world was cruel to you.
You have seen things you wished you could understand and you do not know why you feel abandoned but God was there.
There are times when you just wanted a little more love but there was none to be given and God was there too.

Psalms 139:13-14 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well"

Dios Te Ama.

God knew you before you even came to be.
He knows exactly what you are going through and who you will be in the future.
He will always be your Father, your mother, your friend, your Lord and your God.
I pray that you will come to know this loving God and His marvelous plans for you.

If you are an adult reading this, do consider adoption an option in your family planning. There are many abandoned children out there who need a family to grow wholesomely. Be that channel of God's love for His children.

todo en Espányol

It was our 3rd CG here in Santiago and it's starting to get familiar with familiar faces doing familiar things in a familiar environment.................. BUT......................... it's still in SPANISH.......arghhhh......
There's just so much I want to share, to communicate, to inspire & simply just to understand and be understood PERFECTLY.

The thing is that as we grow older, our brain gets smarter (just like what Jonathan, our Spanish teacher, told us), and it's so smart that it rejects everything that it cannot associate with what's been already written in our memory banks. Yeah, and I thought to myself that I considered myself pretty adaptable? HA!

So.......... conclusion, Exploration trips are very important, but then again, the Faith that we based our belief systems on works on a different dimension altogether.

God never needed a "Plan B". His executive actions are based on the perfect principle that it WILL NOT fail. Only human beings, with all his 'wisdom', need secondary plans. Our faith should be based upon knowing that when we ARE in God's perfect will, we can trust that we are in extremely good hands! Phew..... gracias a Dios.

Vivo en Las Condes, Santiago

Saludos fr our 2 feline friends,
Our beautiful house in Las Condes. The feeling is so similar to Australia, with the low-rise beige houses, old shops converted fr wooden houses, dry roads, people on dented cars and bicycles & Summer's in Dec. The only difference is Chile's Spring's temperature @ night is almost Brissy's winter.

We're cooking a lot now compared to the cheap, convenient and delicious take-away in Singapore.
But Pui See's cooking so very good, the only thing is the after-math of the event, it's a pretty significant sight to behold!

Land In Santiago

Talk about torturing your bums, the best way to do it? Sit in economy class for more than 24hrs and enjoy the pleasure of your body weight resting on your tender bottom cheeks!

transferring from Buenos Aires airport was simply not very impressing for a 1st-timer. No air-con, long wait, and the hard metal chairs that were simply not inviting for a sore bum!

Luckily 3 hrs passed pretty quickly when you get your short 40 winks and very soon, we were on LAN heading towards Santiago de Chile! (i must say the plane's VOD systems looked more impressive than MAS's )
When we reached, we were stopped by the customs and had our 2 bags of dried mushrooms confiscated cause we didn't declare it. But the blessing in disguise? We didn't pay for ANY excess baggage on LAN's side and that saved us USD200. Thank God!

fresh perspectives!

wow! talk about having a dinner with your Pastor's family! well, i know that that's the 1st and it won't be the last!

We had tasty beef rendang and a really wonderful time getting to know the Ben Lee family. Dan & Deborah just finished their PSLE so they were having a good, short time of cartoons while we finished the rest of the delicious dinner. They were laughing hilariously which really stirred the inviting in my heart to join them and have a good one but we knew we were there to receive the Spiritual impartation from their parents.

We were really blessed to have a short, but extremely ministering time with the HS while Ps Ben & Dinah prayed and prophesied over us. It was just a wonderful night! and we even got a book free from Ps Ben, his latest publication, hot off the press! It's basically a 10 yrs series. (Yah, read this book and u can pass your Church-planting test~!!)

ARGHHH!!!!.................................
i've given up hope to revive my old blog. I've tried all emails & password combos but to no access/...........
Yes, i've given up, anybody out there has any advice??
anyway, here's my previous blog http://www.emotionbeats.blogspot.com/
Here's having the Big Mac meal without the fries and coke........

That's what Friends are for!

We just had a wonderful dinner in a little pretty restaurant called Peaberry & Pretzel.
They served German porky knuckles, Tasmanian mussles and lotsa sweeties! But what was really wonderful was the company. Period!
Alex, John, Pat, Regine & her soon-to-be husband, Eddie and my wify.

I mean how wonderful a night can be hanging out with a bunch of friends that you've spent some of your life's most interesting chapters with?!? These beautiful yet real people belong to Nanyang Polytechnic, my poly mates whom have seen each other through the really tough project deadlines in the 'valleys' as well as each other's wedding on the 'mountain-tops'. To come together just for a dinner shows how much we value each other.
I thank God for making Himself visible through friends like these. It's like this saying i've once read,

"Friends are the family we choose for ourselves"

ps: German beers are still the best!
